Our Review Process
The rules behind these 6 pages: our sources, our checks and our commercial disclosure.
FxPro RegulationOur commercial disclosure
We earn from partner links. The reader pays nothing more for using one. This is editorial coverage, not advice, and we have no corporate relationship with Timson Securities. No partner pays for a rating, a placement or a kind word - the assessment is written before the link is added, not after.
What happens before we publish
A claim reaches the page only when we can name where it came from.
An unverifiable number is dropped, not approximated: a missing value costs the reader nothing, a wrong one can cost money.
Conditions that differ by country are read for Philippines specifically, because a global page and a local account are rarely the same thing.
The sources behind these pages
The facts here come from documents, not from marketing: the register of Two main bodies: the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC PH) regulates securities, CFDs and investment solicitation; the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is the central bank overseeing FX transactions, leverage and payment systems. The SEC does not currently issue local retail-forex/CFD dealer licences, so most Filipinos trade with offshore-regulated brokers (FCA/ASIC/CySEC). Verify at sec.gov.ph and bsp.gov.ph. first, then Timson Securities's own terms and published fees. Where a licence matters we point at the source: pse.com.ph. Secondary sources - user-review platforms, press reports - are used for reputation, never for figures.
How often we update
Dates on these pages are real: the Philippines source set is dated 2026-07-07 and the pages are re-checked against it. We update the page and its date together. Manipulating publication dates is the opposite of what dates are for.
